AgentSMS provides a low-volume SMS API for AI agents. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our service.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign up for an API key, we collect your college email address, name, organization, and any additional information you provide during registration.

API Usage Data

We log API requests to enforce rate limits, prevent abuse, and maintain service quality. Logs include timestamps, destination phone numbers (hashed), message status, and your API key identifier.

Message Content

Message content is stored so that it can be retrieved by AI agents for context and conversation continuity.

Phone Numbers

Recipient phone numbers are stored in hashed form for rate-limit enforcement and abuse prevention. We do not sell, share, or use phone numbers for marketing.

How We Use Information

• Service delivery: Sending and receiving SMS messages on your behalf.
• Abuse prevention: Enforcing rate limits, detecting misuse, and complying with carrier policies.
• Service improvement: Usage statistics to improve reliability.

Data Sharing

We share data only with:

• Carrier partners to deliver messages.
• Law enforcement when required by valid legal process.

We do not sell personal data or phone numbers to third parties.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting us. We will respond within 30 days.
